CEO

  • Engineer agronomist, a graduate of the ENSAIA and ESSA Antananarivo, with nearly 20 years of experience in the aromatic raw materials.
  • Co-founder of Jacarandas in 2004, having held several key positions in the development and export of spices and essential oils.
  • CEO of Tomad, specializing in the development of agricultural projects sustainable and valuation sectors.
  • Vice-president of the GEHEM, engaged in the structuring of the sector of the essential oils of Madagascar.
  • Passionate about innovation and sustainability, it works for the empowerment of local producers and the international influence of the sector.

Isean Faniry Ramanitranja

Our track record

Climate change mitigation – Plan of reforestation to Manakara

This project aims to combat climate change through the implementation of a plan of reforestation in three municipalities in the region of Manakara. In addition to restoring forest ecosystems, this initiative contributes to carbon sequestration and the conservation of local biodiversity. The involvement of local communities is at the heart of the project in order to guarantee a sustainable management of plantations and ensure socio-economic benefits in the long term.

Development of the supply chain are certified organic – Anosy Region

In the framework of this project, a work of structuring and strengthening of agricultural supply chains is developed to guarantee the organic certification of the local production. The objective is to improve the access of small producers to international markets, while promoting sustainable agricultural practices and responsible. The initiative includes technical assistance, training, and actions to strengthen the resilience of farmers in the face of environmental and economic challenges.

Development of social policy towards the decent income in an agricultural sub-sector

This project focuses on the improvement of working conditions and remuneration in an agricultural sub-sector specific. The objective is to develop a social policy to bring the income of the workers of a threshold of decent income, while taking account of economic realities and the viability of farms. The initiative is based on field studies, consultations with stakeholders in the sector and recommendations adapted to the implementation of best practices and social security and employment.

Upcycling products from Madagascar for the natural cosmetics

Cette initiative innovante explore le potentiel de valorisation des sous-produits agricoles malgaches pour la création d’ingrédients actifs destinés à l’industrie cosmétique naturelle. En appliquant les principes de l’upcycling, le projet transforme des matières premières inutilisées ou sous-exploitées en ingrédients à haute valeur ajoutée. Cette approche favorise l’économie circulaire, réduit le gaspillage et crée de nouvelles opportunités économiques pour les producteurs locaux.
